How to Join the Team
Massad Marlins Swim Team Registration
To register your child for the Massad Marlins Swim Team:
- Your child must be 5 years old by June 1
- Your child must water confident and willing to take instruction.
- Your child must be able to swim a full length of the pool to participate in swim meets.
The Massad Marlins is a welcoming and encouraging swim team that is perfect for introducing young swimmers to the sport in a fun and supportive environment. We help kids build confidence, improve water safety skills, and develop a love for swimming.
If your child is still working on basic swimming skills, the Massad YMCA offers excellent swim lessons to help them gain comfort and strength in the water before the summer season. Join our team to learn and refine the four strokes, techniques, and enjoy being part of a positive, team-oriented community. Let's get your child started on their swimming journey and make a splash together!
Team Size and Safety
The Marlins Swim Team has approximately 135 swimmers. To make the swim team experience safe for all swimmers, we limit the number of swimmers in each age group. This also ensures that all the swimmers on the team have enough opportunities to swim in meets.

Membership Fees
Member of the YMCA: $150
Non-YMCA Member/Non-Water Park Season Pass Holder: $200
